Who we are
Stephen, David and a wall of fabric
Dutch Furniture Workshop is a reupholstery and furniture-making shop on the Lenamore Road in Derry/Londonderry. Stephen and David handle the jobs from first message to final delivery, so the person who quotes your sofa is the person who recovers it.
The work covers all types of furniture repair and upholstery: leather sofa repairs, full suite reupholstery, recliners, headboards, dining chairs, car and van seats, and bar, restaurant and commercial seating. Alongside repairs, the workshop manufactures sofas and seating of all types to order.
The sample wall is the heart of the place. Come in, sit in a finished wingback, and pull the swatches until one is right.
How we work

A straight answer
If a piece is worth doing, we tell you what it needs and what it costs. If it is not, we tell you that too.
Quick turnarounds
Small repairs are often done while you wait. A sofa can be lifted, fixed and back in your room in a day or two when the diary allows.
Done properly
New foam, webbing and springs where they are needed, not just a new cover over an old problem.
